The Korean original shall prevail in case of any discrepancy. ■ Article 1 (Purpose) These rules set out the conditions, procedures and other necessary matters regarding membership registration on www.uaekorean.com. ■ Article 2 (Effect and Amendment) (1) These rules take effect upon your consent at sign-up and upon public notice. (2) The site Operating Committee may amend these rules where deemed necessary; amended rules take effect in the same manner as in paragraph (1). ■ Article 4 (Scope of Membership) (1) Only those who complete sign-up are members. (2) Non-members may read information and posts, but may not write posts or comments. (3) A "member" of www.uaekorean.com means an internet member, which is distinguished from an officially registered member of the U.A.E Korean Association. ■ Article 5 (Member Obligations) (1) Members must comply with these rules and all published notices. (2) Members must not engage in any of the following: 1. Acts that defame others or infringe their rights 2. Acts contrary to public order or good morals 3. Acts that damage the reputation of this site or obstruct its operation 4. Acts deemed to threaten national security or be connected to crime 5. Membership activities in violation of these rules 6. Any other acts in violation of applicable law ■ Article 6 (Restrictions on Membership) In any of the following cases, the site may delete or move content, restrict access, or suspend use without prior warning: (1) Violation of member obligations under Article 5 (2) Posting or linking illegal adult or obscene material (3) Posting or linking content that infringes copyright or neighboring rights (4) Providing false information at sign-up (5) Posting commercial advertisements without consent ■ Article 7 (Copyright of Posts) (1) All rights to posted content belong to the person who posted it. (2) The person who posted the content is responsible for all legal issues related to it. ■ Article 9 (Obligations of Administrators) Personal information obtained in connection with sign-up shall not be disclosed, distributed or used for commercial purposes without the member's consent, except where required by relevant authorities under applicable law, subject to deliberation by the Operating Committee. ■ Article 10 (Site Management) (1) Responsibility for posting, editing and deleting content lies with the person who posted it. (3) Where a post is judged to harm site operations, the site may request correction or block the poster's access. ■ Article 11 (Damages and Disclaimer) (1) Members are responsible for all consequences and losses arising from unauthorized acts. (3) The site is not liable for damages arising from suspension of website operations. (5) The site is not responsible for the reliability or accuracy of materials posted or transmitted by members.
